Kelsey is the owner of The Children’s Place and a Casper native who received her master’s degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. She has been working with children, teens, families, and adults in Casper since 2006.  Kelsey provides therapy to address a variety of needs including depression, anxiety, ADHD, adjustment problems, family changes and stressors, parenting, parent/child relationship difficulties, and challenging behavior.  Kelsey is trained in EMDR (Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing) therapy and is currently working on becoming EMDR certified. Kelsey is also a Conscious Discipline Certified Instructor and provides consultation and training to schools, organizations, childcare centers, and parents.

Baleigh Hite


MSW, LCSW

Baleigh Hite received her master's degree in Social Work from the University of Wyoming and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Baleigh has been practicing since 2015 and has experience working with children, teens, adults and families. Baleigh can assist with addressing many challenges including anxiety, depression, ADHD, parent/child relational difficulties, PTSD and trauma. Baleigh is passionate about working with individuals who are invested in making positive changes in their lives.

Jo received her master's degree from the University of Wyoming and is a Licensed Clinical Social Worker. Jo has been working with children, teens, and families since 2007. She is certified in Dialectical Behavior Therapy and while she primarily uses this approach, she integrates methodologies and techniques to offer each client a personalized approach. Jo recognizes the importance of the therapeutic relationship with her clients and strives to provide a place of safety where her clients feel accepted no matter their circumstance. She is passionate about working with clients who are struggling with emotional & behavioral symptoms as a result of trauma, youth in the juvenile system, family issues, grief/loss, children coping with divorce, and adolescent substance use issues.

Melinda received her Master's of Art degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Adams State University and is a Licensed Professional Counselor. She has been practicing since 2022 and has experience working with children, adolescents, adults and families in private practice and acute crisis settings. Melinda is trained in Eye Movement Desensitization and Reprocessing (EMDR) Therapy and is passionate when it comes to trauma-informed approaches to healing. She believes that the therapeutic relationship should be one of authenticity, collaboration, and one that feels safe and supportive. She strives to help clients find tools to cope with life’s stresses and pulls from Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Existential Theory, Polyvagal Theory, and Person-Centered approaches. She hopes to help clients find more adaptive habits that lead to more meaningful and fulfilling lives.
